About Brain Lab

Brain Lab is a research and experimentation wing of the EBLICT Project (Enhancement of Bengali Language in ICT Through Research and Development), an initiative of the Bangladesh Computer Council under the ICT Division, Government of Bangladesh.

The EBLICT Project was established to strengthen the presence and usability of the Bengali language in digital systems through sustained research and development. Over the years, EBLICT has produced foundational national resources and technologies, including large-scale language datasets, natural language processing tools, and applied AI systems.

While EBLICT focuses on delivering national-scale language technologies and platforms, Brain Lab functions as the exploratory and academic arm—where new ideas are tested, methods are refined, and future directions are shaped through sustained research, collaboration, and knowledge production.
